It’s power-packed with the bricks and mortar to rebuild the body from the ground up—eliminating cracks in the foundation that keep clients stuck in pain or poor progress.
In the world of movement, every step starts at the feet. If the base is off, everything above it compensates—and that includes the core, the pelvis, the spine, and even the cranial vault. You didn’t become a therapist to feel stuck or drained.
But when every treatment only kind of works… and the same patterns keep showing up… it wears on you. This course is your reset button. It rewrites how you see the body, beginning where it all starts: the feet and lower extremities.
You’re not burned out because you’re bad at what you do.
You’re burned out because no one showed you where to look. Until now.
Far too often, foot mechanics and lower limb imbalances are overlooked in treatment plans, leaving clients in a frustrating cycle of temporary relief and recurring pain.
You’ll learn to decode what the body has buried, distorted, or denied—and break the pattern.
Whether your client presents with plantar fasciitis or pelvic misalignment, you’ll discover how the answer might begin with the way their feet contact the ground.
You’ll stop chasing symptoms—and start solving problems.
Align’d gives you a proven, step-by-step system that shows you exactly where dysfunction begins and how to correct it—so you can help more people, in less time, with less strain on you.
The Align’d Advantage
Using the Align’d Approach, you will learn to decode the entire lower kinetic chain and be able to tell:
- Where the story began (often not where the pain is)
- What systems are compensating—and how to reset them
- What patterns are draining your clients—and you
You’ll walk away with:
A map to identify postural distortion at the ground level
- Protocols to unwind chronic dysfunction and promote restoration
- Measurable progress markers—visually, palpably, and kinesthetically
- A sustainable practice method that avoids therapist burnout by providing systemized, strategic sessions rather than reactive treatments.
Why It’s Different
The Align’d Assessment Method analyzes posture, movement, and function across 24 anatomical zones and 13 interconnected systems. What looks chaotic becomes readable—like math—to a trained eye. And math problems? They always have solutions.. You’ll learn how the lower body speaks to the rest of the structure, and how to correct it without assumptions, guesswork, or burnout.
Your clients will see the results. You’ll feel the relief of having a system that works—on every level.
Who This Course Is For:
This course is for licensed health professionals (PTs, RMTs, DCs, ATs, Osteos, Acupuncturists) and Align’d graduates ready to go deeper into postural integration, functional restoration, and root-cause resolution. This course is your reset. It rewrites how you see the body, beginning where it all starts: the feet and lower extremities. You’ll walk away equipped to assess and treat:
- Plantar fasciitis, bunions, collapsed arches, toe gripping
- Pronation/supination patterns and their effect on gait, balance, and spinal curvature
- Achilles tendonitis, shin splints, calf strain
- Patellar tracking dysfunction, knee pain, meniscal and ligament stress
- IT band syndrome, hip impingement, pelvic torque and misalignment
- Leg length discrepancies—true or apparent Nerve compression and entrapment (tibial, peroneal, femoral, sciatic)
- Ankle or Hip rigidity or instability and its link to ribcage, jaw distortion and cervical compression
- Inflammation and lymphatic congestion in the lower body that alters systemic healing
- Upstream effects on head posture, cranial vault symmetry, and facial musculature
- Shoulder loading and arm asymmetries driven by poor lower body mechanics
- Dysautonomia symptoms linked to mechanical compression in the lower body
- Chronic ankle instability, foot numbness, tibial/peroneal nerve tension
- Muscle patterns creating weak glutes, tight hip flexors, and poor pelvic support
- Structural stress leading to sinus congestion, TMJ dysfunction, and balance disorders

Dana’s Story: Connecting Clinician + Client Experience
Years of personal pain and perseverance shaped Dana’s path—as both a client and a clinician.
What began as simple foot pronation evolved into shin splints and bunions from years of ski racing and poor running mechanics. It didn’t stop there. Over time, this spiraled into tibial stress fractures, Osgood’s Schlatter’s, recurring patellar and hip hypermobility, a peroneal nerve injury that made walking unbearable, and even a bone infection from untreated blisters.
I was told to stop doing the things I loved. Traditional physio and rehab approaches plateaued—and treating each issue on its own only made other areas worse. No one saw the full picture.
Now, Dana teaches what she desperately needed back then: the importance of the foot-to-pelvis-to-thoracic-to-cranial-facial connection. Because what’s underfoot doesn’t just affect the knees or hips—it ripples up to impact the jaw, neck, face, and brain function—and vice versa.
Her journey through chronic pain, misdiagnosis, and therapist burnout now fuels a system designed to do what no one else did for her: make healing measurable, repeatable, and truly sustainable.
Sheryl’s Story: What High Arches Couldn’t Hide
Sheryl had always been told her pain was from bad shoes—stilettos on the catwalk certainly didn’t help. But the real issue ran much deeper.
Years of rigid high arches, claw toes, multiple knee surgeries, and even a vein graft created deep compensation patterns that traveled through her entire body. Her gait changed, her hips rotated, and her structure collapsed upward—not just downward.
Most therapists focused on her symptoms—until Dana stepped in. She explained how the shape and rigidity of Sheryl’s feet had been quietly reshaping her entire system for decades.
Through the Align’d system, Sheryl began to unravel patterns no one else had connected—starting at the feet and rebuilding function from the ground up.
Her case became the turning point. Sheryl asked Dana to start teaching, knowing others needed this work too.
That was twenty years ago, the two teamed up—and the rest is history.
