I help achievers, athletes and aspirers get their spark back. I empower clients to unlock their ultimate high-performance capacity by helping them through the obstacles that are in the way of them realizing their potential.
As the Founder of Performance Evolution and the Developer of The Align’d Approach, I interpret the imbalances and complexities of the body and mind into something meaningful and measurable. A lop-sided, slouched and stiffened body speaks volumes and the shock value of seeing these conditions transform right before their eyes lights me up.
With 25 years of clinical experience I’ve served nearly 20 000 individuals as an RMT practising Manual Therapy, Level I Sedona Method®, Performing Edge Coaching®, Acupuncture, and Clinical Hypnosis. I’m an avid researcher and keen observer who loves to learn from and with other experts…but ultimately, it’s my clients who teach me what works and what’s a waste. My clients have gone on to be professional athletes, Grammy-award-winning artists, CEOs, and high-achievers of all types.
Twenty-five years ago, I was studying linguistics and psychology, when a deep personal frustration and another concussion detoured me into the study of the body – its functionality, its capacity and how to push past the barriers we put on ourselves. This passionate realization sparked my own journey of connecting the dots, how our attitudes and beliefs affect our physical abilities (long before the mind-body connection was a thing).
From working with thousands of clients my new understanding was born, “dysfunctional” mechanics of the body can show us the areas of life beyond the physical that are also stuck. The discovery of this approach was so beautiful and fascinating to me – mathematical and practical. Measurable and precise. Visual and consistent. Finding simplicity in complexities. My own pragmatic system for posture and movement correction creates space, support, and possibility, efficiency, functionality and introduces a feeling of lightness and power into bodies and lives was born. It became Performance Evolution’s Align’d Approach. It feels full circle that my work today is so much about communications and language, the language and expression of the body, of you.
Our experiences – the good, the bad and the ugly can grow us, liberate us, energize us and create momentum and fulfillment beyond expectations. We just need to let go of the need to perpetuate the inner conflict, struggle, pain and suffering. Our injuries, accidents and wounds have so much to teach us. It is my desire, to share this with you, so you can share it with others and witness and experience firsthand how fascinating, fun and mind-blowing you and your body are – that we all are.

Sheryl Gill, BSc. RMT
Director, The Align’d Approach & Academy

I’m a seasoned science grad and Registered Massage Therapist who is passionate about the inner workings of the human body. The theme of my life is transformation and my vision is to help transform healthcare globally. Over the course of 23 years, I’ve worked with thousands of individuals, empowering them to embrace and maximize life every single day.
Ten years ago, my heart stopped for 10 minutes. I’ve lived to share my new improved experience of life and love to do so as a motivational speaker for Fortune 500 corporations in media, insurance, entertainment, and finance. I’ve shared my story and message at Corus, Sunlife, Investors Group, the Canadian government, Hamilton General Hospital, Sick Kids Hospital, and the Heart & Stroke Foundation (which turned into an ambassador position with a national media campaign!)
My studies over the years have been directed by a desire to find simple ways to regain balance in our bodies. At times, health can seem a mystery, but it doesn’t have to be a secret. Yes, the body is great at hiding and covering up its wounds and injuries. But with a well-trained eye, you know exactly what to look for. Once we discover your limitations and blocks – whether it’s locked in as discomfort, numbness, heaviness, or tension – you can start to remove them. It’s like finding a shortcut, a way to optimize not just survive.
I love creating connections and know where to look and what questions to ask to find the “logger nut”— the smallest change that gives the biggest result. Because I love a good puzzle, I can find the oldest injury someone has and resolve it almost instantly by pinpointing a lifelong limitation. When I first saw Dana’s work I saw immediately a new way of looking at health not just as disease management. It’s a simple elegant system of harnessing human potential that includes everyone with a body, a heart, and a willingness to learn. What kind of world can we build with the knowledge of how to be the best version of ourselves?
One of my secret superpowers is morphing any comfort food recipe into nutritional power fuel—it’s something that got me featured on an episode of Chef Worthy. My passion for putting the pieces together seamlessly and solving the most complex problems makes me a freak for any organizing and do-it-yourself project. Show me chaos and I’ll help find order.
I thrive on understanding what makes people tick. As the co-author of the Align’d Approach I revel in discovering the keys to unlock that untapped performance capacity. Creating community and seeing people innovate and step into their humanity makes my heart sing.
